By adding these sites to your Posterous Platform, you will create backlinks to your blog (thus creating Google Juice) AND you will generate some organic traffic as well.
The services that you are adding are called Web 2.0 sites. Web 2.0 is nothing more than online content sharing websites that allow you to connect with your audience. The 3 services that you will be adding to Posterous today are:
- Wordpress.com
- Identi.ca and
- Tumbler
A Wordpress.com blog and a wordpress blog that you install yourself, is that Wordpress.com blogs are hosted on Wordpress.com and other Wordpress blogs are hosted on your own domain.
The micro-blogging service Identi.ca, is similar to the service of Twitter.
