WAS TALKING TO A REALTOR THAT HAD 3 OPEN HOUSES LAST WEEKEND AND ON ONE HOME HAD NOBODY SHOW UP AND THE OTHER 2 TWO COUPLES AT BOTH. WHERE ARE THOSE BUYERS??? IS THIS COMMON WITH ALL OPEN HOUSES OUT THERE AT THIS TIME. IN THE PAST I REMEMBER WHEN YOU WOULD HAVE LIKE 20 PEOPLE COMING THOUGH THOSE HOUSES AGENTS WOULD TELL ME. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS OR OPINIONS ABOUT OPEN HOUSES AND THE TRAFFIC YOUR GETTING THOUGH. THANKS FOR YOUR OPIONS AND COMMENTS!!!!

Open houses? Traffic? Not in the northwest distant suburbs. I hold four opens per weekend. If I see a live person, I am lucky. And, they are not usually buyers these days. But, I have a bunch of buyers....from where? The web and AR. I still do opens on the off chance that I can sell the property I am in, however. And, we do everything we can to sell our listings.

Here in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire the open house attendance, from what I've heard, is pretty low. They are usually only held in the first place because sellers think they are helpful.
