Have you ever sold a home out of fear?

By
Real Estate Agent with Celebrity Homes in Omaha, Nebraska and surrounding areas

Intriguing title, eh?  It's not really what you think.  fear

In our new home market here in Omaha, Nebraska I represent a builder and only work with buyers.  So my perspective is a little different than some of yours but we all can relate to the following:

1.  Have you ever sold someone a home because the buyer feared it would be sold to someone else looking at it?  Of course you have.  Our market is like this and if yours isn't why aren't you creating the urgency?

2.  Have you ever sold a home to someone because they were fearful interest rates would jump up on them?  Of course you have.  And with rates as low as they are I'd be fearful too!

3.  Have you ever sold a home to someone because they feared the home building prices would go up before they bought?  We have actually had some price increases in the last year.  Yes, I said increases!

So, raise your hand if you've ever sold a home out of fear?

In our new home market here in Omaha, Nebraska these fears are very valid even with the negative energy created by our national media outlets.  I hope they are valid in the housing market you represent, too!

These fears are very valid in our area too. Rates are at historical lows, and really so is new construction inventory. And after all, there's just one home on that 'must have' parcel. There can be 2 homes alike, but no two parcels are alike.

Good for you Vickie!  You're right, some times the home site is the sizzle that sells!
