Wachovia Suspends the Postponement of Trustee Sales...
I was recently in a meeting with a local representative from Wachovia and I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news...86% of requested Wachovia short sales are approved! Wachovia is one of, if not, the very best, bank to have a mortgage with. They usually have a short sale approved with in 48-72 hours. I personally have seen one approved in less than 24 hours start to finish. From listing, to offer, to short sale approval!
The bad news...as of about two weeks ago Wachovia will NOT be postponing trustee sale dates! This means that all short sales must close 5 days prior to the sale date or seller's are out of luck! Is there a loophole to stopping the trustee sale? Yes, but only if the seller qualifies for the HAFA program. If you aren't sure what the HAFA program is please visit a previous blog I wrote titled, "Understanding the HAFA Program."
If you have any questions about your loan you may contact Wachovia directly. Or you can visit our website where you can explore the many foreclosure alternatives that you have when you find yourself behind in your mortgage payments like 1 in 4 homeowners are today. You must remember, you are not alone.
IMPORTANT: If you are a Wachovia homeowner who is already behind in your mortgage payments, call me today! If I can not help you, I have a direct connection with my local Wachovia representative who will gladly talk to you and will even come to your home to explore your possibilities. We will work together to meet your needs.
Call now before it's too late!
