The drive from Sarasota to Orlando yesterday went well. It was without accidents, traffic and thankfully without Mondays' monsoon rains.
It is rare that I go to real estate seminars and conventions as most I have attended have not given me the information I am looking for. Most push the sale of a product all day long that will give you the secret to what they won't tell you during the entire seminar! They just dangle the carrott all day long and then the seminar ends. Booh. Not so at RainCamp. While there were a few vendors from Zillow.com and MarketLeader, RainCamp was full of insight into the future of online buyer activity and how to maximize your time and effort on the ActiveRain community to get your name in front of more buyers and sellers.
I must say that my first RainCamp was incredible! By the mid morning break, I had enough tips to implement that would have kept me busy for a few weeks. My plan was to leave at 3pm for the drive back to Sarasota in order to feed and let my two dogs out, but I squeeked out another 45 minutes to listen to Ben and the agent panel about a few social media sites that I wasn't as familiar with. I still made it home when I wanted to and encountered very little rush hour traffic.
I made the drive back to Sarasota and encountered a little bit of rain, but it wasn't the "chats and blogs" variety!
It was a pleasure meeting a few of the staff members in person! Thanks Kerrie G for you help!
