Yes, NAR, this summer has been dead. The dog days arrived in early June. It is ironic, however, that the national news and Wall Street are sending distress signals because my colleagues and I have noticed definite stirrings of life in the past couple weeks! I have not had a real new buyer in months, but all of the suddent I have TWO! One of my over priced listings has not had a showing since June, and today I got a showing appointment. After two months of no activity on a house that has been for sale since February, I am happy to be working on a deal. And a couple of people who contacted me months ago about listings are finally getting serious. It can't just be me, right? I hesitatingly mentioned my feeling that things were getting better to a couple colleagues. They are having the same feelings. Just in time too. Just like the squirrels, we have got to get ready for winter. Best of luck to all of us!
