Invest In Home Remodeling Projects

Many homeowners when thinking about selling think about spending some money on projects around the house. When deciding on a remodeling project you want to spend your money wisely. If you can only tackle one project consider remodeling your bathroom. While many remodeling projects return only pennies on the investment, other than the kitchen, your bathroom is the most essential room of the house. Besides your kitchen, bathroom remodeling is the one home improvement project that will get you 90% or more return for your investment. An updated bathroom is among the most important upgrades on home buyers lists. If your home only has one bathroom, you might want to consider adding upgrades such as a double sink or separate shower and tub. These things make it easier for more than one person to share the bathroom at the same time. Depending on the size of your budget, your remodeling project can consist of fresh paint, updating your faucets and light fixtures and changing your shower and window curtains or a complete remodel, replacing tub, toilet, tiles, even changing the layout. Whatever improvements your budget allows, there is no doubt that updating your bathroom is a project that is worth investing in. It will make your home more attractive to buyers.

Irena this is so true.  That 's why it pays to seek professional advice before going forward with a project.  Why not ask a real estate consultant?  Nice post!

HI Irena,  Many times a buyer will ask to see a house because it has an updated bathroom.

Dear Irena,

It is so true you need to hire a professional to get advice on what needs to be done to update the home. It can be costly and you can go over your budget.  Some homeowners do it themselves and it shows!!!
