The Michigan real estate market is very spotty.

We had three bidders registered at the auction who would not even give an opening bid for this fine property.

After traveling to the site from Maryland with auctioneer Ken Lindsay (it was his listing referred by a local RE agent) I discovered one of the niceset homes we have offered at auction in a very long time.

Deep well with excellent tasting water

Huge pole building with 2-bays in addition to the attached garage

Manicured landscaping with pines making it look like a Christmas tree farm in one area

Overall excellent condition of the home in every resepect with the only thing I could find wrong was one chimney screen had come loose.

There is a huge deck next to the glassed in hot tub (seats 8) party room which is over a driveway to the finished basement.

The owners are the second owners and could not tell me why there is a paved concrete driveway leading under the deck to the basement but it has great views of the backyard over a treed horizon which they had planned to use as a semi-indoor patio area. It made unloading basement furniture & washer dryer a breeze.

To make a long story longer we are going to re-offer the property at auction in October and the seller has reduced the reserve to a point where this property could sell for as little as 50% of what it was worth just 2-years ago in a walk away situation.
