Who's Friended YOU on Facebook Lately??
We love Facebook.
And we love getting friends on Facebook, to the point where we've reached the oft-stated limit of 5,000 combined friends and fan pages. Facebook says you can't have more than 5,000 or you have to start deleting some in order to add new ones. This isn't entirely true, as I've seen many people who have exceeded the 5,000 limit and are still adding new friends and pages, but sometimes when you try to add someone the Facebook Demon says "Hell, NO!" and gives you the unfortunate message, "Sorry, you must delete some friends before you can add new ones", or something to that effect.
Well, we're just about at that point. So we dread getting more friend requests or "Like" requests for fear of not being able to add them, and we don't want to IGNORE anybody, geez, that's just downright rude! And what if a celebrity should ask to be our friend, and we can't because we have reached our friend limit? What then??
Well, that's just what has happened. We got a friend request today from someone that nobody in their right mind would turn down. We can't turn him down; even though he's one of the good guys he's still enigmatic and unpredictable. I don't want to mention his name in a public post, I'm sure he wouldn't want the publicity, but I will share his picture. Ready?
Yes ladies and gentlemen, just minutes ago the Caped Crusader himself has asked to be OUR friend on Facebook! What an HONOR! We're beside ourselves with joy of having one of the world's foremost crimefighters as a friend. We can sleep better at night now knowing that the Dark Knight is just a Facebook chat message away should we ever need him. Who amongst you can make that claim?
Now, the question is: who do we delete in order to reap the benefits of this fantastic good fortune? We MUST have an MLM guru or a sleazy politician in our friend list somewhere that can be sacrificed? Decisions, decisions...
OH NO! We just went back to check on Batman's friend request and lo and behold, while we were writing this post the Masked Manhunter changed his profile picture to avoid creating a sensation. In place of the familiar silhouette above, there is now a picture of his mild-mannered alter ego, the ruggedly handsome...
GI JOE!!!
Don't worry Joe, your secret is safe with us...and we'll work you into our friend list somehow!
So...who's friended YOU on Facebook lately??
