Think about your kitchen and all the "stuff" you've tucked away under the kitchen sink. Now you've got something messy to clean and you start digging for the right cleaning solution, if you even know what it should be?

In reality, there are 2 cleaning products you need most of the time and here are simple solutions to eliminate all those fancy bottles under the sink and forget about researching which brand is better. Even better, these solutions are far cheaper than anything you can buy.

  • Scouring power - use store-brand plain white vinegar and mix it 50/50, with water for a great all purpose cleaner. It's green and it costys a fraction of anything else you could buy.
  • Glass cleaner - baking soda straight out of the box does just as good a job, and costs less money.

Paige, I didn't have to look under your sink ... as I was simply describing my sink. The question is what will it take for my husband to give up his Windex as we've always got not 1 but 2 or 3 bottles taking up space.

Susan, Funny how I'm having to write about this stuff in order to push myself to take the next step and actually practice these things ... but my older son is moving back home so I'm definitely looking for ways to save storage space.
