"Best" MLS photos of the week - Pet Edition

Patty - I tend to keep pets out of every picture. Some people won't visit a home that's had pets in it, so I try to eliminate that option.

WHAT A GREAT IDEA!   THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX AND BEING A LITTLE DIFFERENT.  I LIKE!!

Patty- maybe for that last one the idea was to imagine grandma coming over and baking.... for the dog...?  Wait a second!  That's the same house where the cake is on the table and the dog is dancing!  You can't fool me!  haha:)  Fido in the other two pictures must come with the house, seeing as he is featured so prominently.

Absolutely freakin' hilarious...both my husband and I are sitting here just laughing our arses off...

Classic....I was going to add that I love it when Agents get people in the photo, but I see you've got that covered as well. Maybe she's making cookies for an Open House lol

Can I take the pets but not the homes?

I completely agree with you except in one instance. I had a spectacular condo that was pet friendly so I used their grey hound and staged him in a photo of the bedroom - I do think in that case it gave the message that the building was pet friendly - but it was an elegant dog in an elegant setting - a little different than an aged dog!  Great post -

These MLS images are hopefully not a trend in your community. For a moment, I was imagining the roots of a real estate sitcom. Thanks for making me smile. However, it is unfortunate for the sellers as there are ways to market a home which do produce results. Pets and the owner cooking is not one of them.

OY VAY! as we say here in Jersey !!   This is my number one pet peeve.  (No pun intended, but pretty darn right on...)

I've been a showcaser for a while now and I always tell my clients that my job starts with photos.  Cause with lousy photos NO ONE wants to come to see your house - and they will give you NO MORE than two seconds on the computer before they click you to eternity and beyond.

In these photos, the pets are only one problem out of many. But the white german shepherds are wonderful dogs, maybe the owners thought they'd help sell it!

Really?  Those are inspired photos - but not in a good way!

This pains my heart in so many ways. 

At one house, I had a cat who kept getting in frame - ended up having to photo shop it out of 4 pictures.
