Kirkland is known for its generosity in dedicating so much waterfront space to parks. It has at least 12 parks that are on Lake Washington.

The Settler’s Landing Park in Kirkland Washington is perhaps the most beautiful waterfront park of all. It is very small, having 60 linear feet of waterfront, and a total of .10 acres.

But the Settler’s Landing Park Kirkland Washington is heavily landscaped, matching the two high end condominium buildings it is next to. Directly to the north of the Settler’s Landing Park Kirkland Washington is the prestigious Waters Edge Condo complex . Just south of the Settler’s Landing Park Kirkland Washington is the Waterford East Condo building.

There is no parking at the Settler’s Landing Park Kirkland Washington, so plan to park across Lake St on 10th avenue, or on Lake Street itself. Most likely, you will already be on foot, strolling the beautiful Kirkland waterfront when you visit this park.

In the midst of the beauty of this little Settler’s Landing Park is a solitary park bench. If you want to stay for a while and soak in the sun and the beauty, bring a book, plug in your ipod and relax!

The dock at the Settler’s Landing Park is public. It is very long and wide. So you can walk on it, fish from it or even tie up your boat for a while.

No beach here. If your desire is to swim, or wade, or play on a sandy beach, there are other waterfront parks in Kirkland where you can accomplish all of those. Settler’s Landing Park in Kirkland is beautiful but very small, and very limited in what it wants to accomplish.

Most often the Settler’s Landing Park is a beautiful interlude in a walk along the Kirkland waterfront. Thousands of people stroll the area from Marina Park down along the waterfront, as far as Carillon Point or even further south.
