The Lake Ida Dog Park in Delray Beach is a place for our canine friends to run, exercise and have fun.  Located on Lake Ida Road in Delray Beach just east of I-95 on Lake Ida, the setting for this park is just beautiful.  

 

Some of the featuresat the dog park are separate sections for large and small dogs, double gated entry, paved dog wash station, doggie fountain, doggie bag dispensers, restrooms, parking, shade and benches. 

 

The dog park is part of Lake Ida Parkwhich offers freshwater fishing, fishing pier, pavilions and picnic areas with grills, boat launching ramps, volleyball,  water skiing, and a  children's play area.

Hours:  Sunrise to Sunset.    The park is closed on Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm for maintenance.

Elyse- my husband and I have watched over the years at what a great job Delray has done with this park.  It's now more than just a lake and park for fishing.

Hi Elyse, this is a great place to take your dog.  I really like the idea of separating the large dogs from the smaller ones(we have two dachshunds).  You have done a nice job of presenting all the wonderful things this park has to offer for pet owners and their dogs!

I sure do miss the parks, Boca and Delray are very dog friendly and I wish more cities would take a lesson from that, but then the residents need to be educated to be polite dog owners too and keep everything clean and nice :)

My golden retriever misses her daily visits to the park to fetch the ball, its not the same playing in your back yard!
