Leanne, I was watching OPEN HOUSE and I saw a stager, who showed this home she was involved with designing and decorating.....anyway it was scarry busy. I wonder sometimes if the seller lacks the touch and hires the stager who also lacks the touch what do you do?? Anyway yours is fantastic, loved it.

Here's one I did a few years back. It was a 3 story stairwell - this section of stairs led down to the pool room ;)  MANY layers of paint although the depth is hard to see in the photo.

Great colors!!  The triptic was a "find"!!!!

Leanne, I have created canvases by getting frames from the craft store, cotton batting and then picking up some great fabrics at the fabric store. I stretch the fabric over the padded frame, staple and woohoo .. new art! 

I will have to take some pictures of some of my new artwork - they are fun and also easy and inexpensive to change out!

Leanne -- I like your triptych very much -- clever of you to buy something and enhance it!  I'm going to try what Heather does (stretching great fabric over a frame with batting). That sounds easy, alas I'm not an artist.

I literally cannot draw a stick figure and have it look like a stick figure.  Not kidding.  So... I'm in the same club as Maureen and Heather with the purchase of fabric and a staple gun.

Now back to your example - WOW! They're gorgeous.  You obviously have a talent.

Leanne - I love your tryptic!  And that's a beautifully staged room, too!  This is a fun post - I also was blown away with David Ames' artwork.  I'd love to attempt a piece or two.  I'm also a textile artist, and have machine stitched thin, metal shims into handmade paper etc., but at the time I wasn't a home stager, so the framing is too dark.  I will re-look at them and perhaps re-frame them.  I love Connie's artwork, too.  Also, there are a few artwork ideas in the "Staging Crafts & Creatives" group, if you haven't already checked that out.

Your tryptic is great looking and it completed the room-it looks terrific!!  I will look for photos of pieces i have made. How fun! I love Connies  creative art!! 

Personally, I think it's gallery worthy- it looks great. I've seen where stagers have used inexpensive frames and turned them into art by inserting heavy duty wrapping paper and matting them. I must admit, it looks pretty good provided you choose attractive paper that matches the decor!

I cannot wait to try this too, Leanne!  I frequently snap pictures of artwork in stores when it's a simple pattern that I think I can use as inspiration.  Thanks for sharing -- your artwork is very well done and perfect for the space!
