Stagers are definately artists. We work with color, composition & scale - all in a 3 dimensional medium. Some stagers are also artists in 2D form. After reading one of David Ames blogs and finding out that he often creates his own artwork and Lori Kim Polk chimed in as well, it made me curious. How many of you have created artwork specifically for a staging job? Here's a chance to show off another artistic side. Post a photo of your self-created artwork for a staging job.
I bought this triptic of heavy duty frames for $20 (from Craigslist) but the artwork (gold leaf squares) was peeling off so I sanded it down and painted the triptic of trees. It's nothing gallery worthy but it worked great in my staging job.
