Lawrenceville Highway, or 29, has become a heavily traveled road, especially since the opening of a Super Wal Mart several years ago. Hwy 29 is a 5 lane highway that connects Lilburn and further out, Tucker, to Lawrenceville and Snellville via Ronald Reagan Parkway.
The Community Improvement District in Lilburn has hired a company to do a $100,000 streetsacape improvement study from Rockbridge to Ronald Reagan. With many of the shopping centers 30 years old or older, improvements to the area are needed.
Lilburn, with its ideal location, is an older area and any improvements like this one will go along way to improving the look and feel of the area.
