SUNDAY BLESSINGS! I like taking the time to reflect on the good things in life. Today I feel it essential to take the time to be thankful for the fact that blessings are abundant and that life is to be lived. I hear so many people who miss the point in this life ~ it is not about being perfect or good or "being a good Christian". It is simply about understanding grace which is undeserved merit.

You cannot earn it!

You cannot be "good enough" to earn your way into heaven!

You cannot live by legalistic rules of how to worship!

YOU CAN HOWEVER....

Know that you can never be perfect and that is ok!

Know that being a Christian doesn't mean you are better than anyone.

You are loved JUST AS YOU ARE RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!

So take a break from trying to be perfect! Forgive yourself often! Be kind and honest!

Life is a blessing!

"It is simply about understanding grace which is undeserved merit." His grace is a wonderful thing, and while I know it is undeserved merit, I am still quite sure I will never understand it! But I am grateful to be a recipient of His grace on occasion after occasion. He is a wonderful God and I am thankful for LIFE and wonderfully blessed in it!

Blessed in so manny ways Paula, as I reflect on the 5 yr anniversary of Katrina I feel blessed especially with the 5 yr anniversary of Rita coming up in Sept. It changed me life in so many ways.
