The Building Contractors Association of SW Idaho is offering the NAHB Institute of Residential Marketing's "House Construction As A Selling Tool" course on September 29th and 30th.
If you are Builder or a Realtor who specializes in selling new homes, you should seriously consider investing in this course.
More than ever in today's market we are competing against "used" homes. These include older homes as well as newer bank-owned and short sale homes. It is impossible to compete against these used homes based on price. We have to inform and educate potential clients on the benefits of purchasing our new homes and the potential problems and pitfalls associated with purchasing a used home.
The customer wants to know "What can you do for me?" and we must be able to answer that question, not from our mindset, but from the customer's mindset. The customer wants to know:
Why should I buy your home instead of of a short-sale, bank-owned or existing home?
Why should I buy from you?
What benefit do you offer that makes you so different?
Why is your home any different than your competitors?
In "House Construction As A Selling Tool", we will teach you how to answer these questions - from the customers mindset.
We'll focus on what our new homes have going for them and help you to answer a few vital questions like
Which of these factors are most important to our buyers?
Which of these factors can our competitors not easily imitate?
Which of these factors can be easily communicated and understood?
