Florida Realtors® Convention was FABULOUS this year. Thank you to all of you who put this year's convention together. Usually these conventions are geared towards newbies but this year there was so much good information for Brokers and veterans.
We used to wonder what all our dues went to pay for. We just got a glimpse of the benefits of the Florida Realtors® Association- you are getting so much more than what you pay for.
There are so many benefits you get just for being a member from free e-faxes to the new Simple Forms all ready for adding your Docu-sign account to great new mapping features and free IDX for brokers. We went to the Simple Forms class and if you are an independent Broker- you have to use this free power technology for your office and require all your agents to use the contract folders you have set up in Simple Forms.
The Social Media classes by Paul Chaney, Doug Devitre and Mike Mueller were excellent, well thought out and executed with a proper pay it forward attitude that was very much appreciated.
The International sessions were absolutely above and beyond in information and not the regurgitation of stats. What we also realized through these sessions was the amazing amount of research that NAR does for us and other states who get a lot of International buyers. We will be sharing a lot of what we learned on this blog and on our new International Properties Immigration Blog specializing in foreign buyers moving to Florida.
Florida Realtors® also did a great job pulling in the political candidates for a forum event. I was coaching a client over Skype in the Lobby area of the Convention area when the candidates came in to talk.
But Nestor, Milet and our little son were able to meet Marc Rubio and get a photo!
For 4 days of education- we are filled with great information to use in our brokerage and to pass on to our agents and those we coach. We are looking forward to a great season this fall and winter.
