Annandale Mn on Labor Day is the great lake bruhaha, a time for boating, sunning and eating while enjoying the crystal blue waters of our many area lakes. We live on the north end of Sugar Lake in Annandale and while we don't have lake frontage, our hobby farm is a huge hill from which we can see all of the 1,100 acres of beatiful Sugar Lake and having many friends on Sugar Lake, often we get lucky and are invited to join in the water fun!
There are two special events happening on Labor Day weekend on Sugar Lake that you may want a reminder of. These are both happening on Saturday, September 4th.
Brandon Beckman Memorial 5K Run, the 1st annual) happens in the morning at 9:00am. To register go to Sugar Lake Association for the form.
Diane's Lights will be on Saturday night, September 4th with a lake side cruise starting right after sunset. Lake home owners design a gorgeous display of lighted paper candles. It is quite the sight!
Have fun and be safe this Labor Day weekend!
