Comic cyclist image This year's bike ride for fight against AIDS marks the organization's tenth year. It is a 2 day, 150 mile cycling ride through various parts of Dallas-Ft Worth. This year's event will begin on Saturday, September 25th and conclude on Sunday, September 26th. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and raise money for a worthy cause.

If you aren't prepared to cycle for two days you may want to participate in the bike raffle and win a new cycle. For more information about this year's event click on Lone Star Ride.

Teral: This looks like such an awesome and a very worthwhile event. Sounds like lots of fun... if I were only twenty years younger. Hope you are going to be a part of it. We need video of you blazing down the street on your bicycle. That would be a great post. <smile>

Thanks, Karen Anne, that blazing saddle would make a good Friday Funnies for sure! I agree with you in that it is a worthy cause having lost my brother to AIDS in 1996.
