I RAN OUT OF ITEMS TO BLOG ABOUT TODAY BLOGGING CAREER IS OVER

ACTIVERAIN BLOGGER

Good Morning America and to the rest of the World. It is another morning to blog. However, I bet many of you run out of items to blog about. How many of you look like this lady in the picture to the left of us? Biting fingernails is not healthy for people. It is much better to have a cup of coffee in my opinion. However, I attended a Raincamp last week. It seems to me that people have two hurdles when it comes to blogging: CONSISTENCY AND CONTENT

How many of you would agree with this statement? I had many people ask me how long I spend on blogging. Personally, I spend between 60-90 minutes per day when it comes to social media. I prefer to do this early in the morning while I am fresh and while my little kids are sleeping. It works for me.

CONSISTENCY

Again, I have decided to blog early in the morning because that works for me the best. That does not mean it will work for you. I had other people at RainCamp inform me that they do it later at night. Hey, that is fantastic. One has to decide when the best time for them to blog. I would advise you might have to schedule time to just blog. Think of it as part of your Marketing plan.

CONTENT

Personally, I have never had a problem with coming up with ideas to blog about. I blog about what I do on a weekly basis. Also, I have my camera/video with all the time because you never know what might come up while driving in the car for that day. I would advise to shadow three or more top bloggers to view what they write about. Also, I would advise to attend a RainCamp. This will blow your socks off. There is endless topics to write about to make you the local expert.

Harry~ Consistency IS the key! I started the thirty day challenge a couple weeks ago and already it is getting easier to write about something.  Not every day is a hit out of the park but I am getting there.  I can not wait for Rain Camp to come my way!

I get some of my post ideas just reading someone else's post and putting my own spin on it. Sometimes I completely disagree with their stuff, so I write something of my opinion.

I guess I'll write a post today about how I've run out of ideas.  Tomorrow I'll write a post about how yesterday I ran out of ideas.  The next day I'll write a post about how 2 days ago I ran out of ideas.  Will that work for the 30 day challenge?  Thanks for your encouragement to keep at it!

Loved the post Harry, My blogs always have content and I am consistently looking for new topics to write about. There is a RainCamp coming to Salt Lake City so it may be my chances to go sockless!

Hello Harry:

I also try to encourage all bloggersto have their posts be pertinent, relevant, and helpful.  Posts of weather reports don't do it for me.

I agree there are times to send in photo that is funny or something about real estate. I add pictures on my fix and flip properties to let people know about what I do.

I agree there are plenty of things to blog about. Problem is, there's so much, it can sometimes be so overwhelming and you just draw a blank.

At times like these, I log off and forget about it. No sooner than you decide not to blog, ideas come rushing to mind.

Richard one of the secrets that I do is have an outline for the week of topics I want to write about to ensure I touch base with each niche I have created. Plan it

Harry,

Recently a mentor told me all the good intentions in the world mean nothing if you don't take action.  One of the best things I have done for myself is, as you mentioned, schedule a time every day and sit down and write consistently.
