Well it doesnt seem like my son Spencer has been around for 5 years already, but the proof was that this morning I dropped him off for his first day at KINDERGARTEN !!!!
heldon, I hope that Spencer has a great first day....just read Amy Hahn's post on her son's first day as well...she cried...DID YOU!
I am sure parents had a harder time with this than Spencer did. This will be me next year.
Awwww, I hope you didn't cry in front of him :)! Time goes by INCREDIBLY Fast!! I remember dropping each of my kids off on their first day of kindergarten and now they are 19, 17 and 11!!! It was just yesterday, I swear :)!

Enjoy every minute. I can't believe that my daughter is now a Senior in high school, and I only have one year left with her. She will be going to Bogota for 6 months after high school.

I see the joy in his face, and I know how you must be feeling. I remember the first day of kindergarten, middle school and high school and even how lost I felt when I drove home alone from Athens @ UGA and left my little baby girl at college.
Tell Spencer Aunt Tammy says have fun and learn lots and that I love those crocks and jibbits. Are the jibbits sealife... I see one that looks like it might be a fish. I have ladybugs on mine.

Brenda ! I wouldnt cry in front of him :o) The first day I dropped him at pre school, I was a blubbering mess, but in the car in the parking lot, after I walked away strongly, holding in my sobs !!!!

Aunt Tammy ! Yes those are his favorite crocs, and he loves his jibbitz ! There is an octopus, a frog, a dinosaur and some other jungle animals I think on them ! ... oh and a soccer ball ! :o)

Sheldon, I'm with Missy! I got all choked up and I had to just let go and let her go when the Teacher called them all to go inside. I peaked around the corner in the windoe to watch as she went in. She never looked back and loved it from day one. Time sure does go fast! What a great photo. You will cherish it!
Coincidentally, we just looked at some pics of my daughter (now 16) going to kindergarten. She was not afraid and did not cry, but I did. Is it an all day kindergarten?
