Before & After in the bathroom....(a la hgtv)
Everyone loves a good before and after. There are tons of television shows that work off of this idea. We just love to see things go from dark, dingy, and ugly to beautiful and full of life.
Here is a before and after in a bathroom:
So, the ugly linolium floor got replaced by a beautiful marble hexagonal pattern floor. I love this change. It is traditional and sophisticated, yet in a way, shabby chic. I also love the pops of yellow in the room. It really gives the space a happy and relaxing feel. The antique claw foot tub is lovely and adds that hint of charm to the room. Though this bathroom isn't huge, it feels like it is large enough to be cozy but not causing claustraphobia. There is a great window in the space, but most of it felt covered up by the drab and dark curtains in the before photo. To me, this is a bathroom I would want to spend some time in. I'm a fan of this bathroom makeover!
