One of my team members wanted to update the mirrors in her bathrooms but really didn't want the labor of removing the 8 foot mirror from the wall. Plus she wasn't sure exactly what she'd find under the mirror & how much work it would take to repair the sheetrock. Unable to decide on a plan of action, she went to look for ideas on the internet.
And she found MirrorMate Frames. And this turned out to be an easy & beautiful fix for her mirrors. The steps were simple. Measure the mirror, including the amount of space around it. The frames were shipped to her door. The assembly began with wood glue on the mitered corners, with tabs inserted in grooves to solidify the fit. While those sat for an hour for the glue to set, there were two cardboard corners to fold, with double-sided tape. Once the frame was ready, it was put in place on the mirror. The cardboard corners were put in the top corners of the frame, so they'd stick to the mirror for a guide. The frame was taken down, the double-sided tape had its paper peeled off & the frame slid back on those cardboard corners. Then it was pushed back into place on the mirror, pressing the frame firmly against the mirror for the tape to make a good connection. The cardboard corners were removed and the admiration of the "new" mirror began!
