TRIMARK has sold two residual subdivisions to D.R. Horton. D.R. Horton has purchased the balance of the previous Centex "Hawthorne Project" and the balance of the Lennar "Palisades" project. TRIMARK is working with D.R. Horton to design homes that are similar and that blend with the existing homes, but they will not be identical. My sources are telling me that construction may begin in the previous Centex area within a few weeks and the previous Hawthorne project will be a few months out.
D.R. Horton's website is now taking email sign ups for potentially interested parties. The wesbite is stating homes will start in the $500,000 however that seems to be a very optomistic approach. Stay tuned here for more information on this exciting project that is coming to Mountain House. New home starts is always a great indication that ecominicallly the housing market is looking up. For Mountain House residence this is great news.
