What training does a new agent need?

By
Real Estate Agent with Shaub Real Estate Services Group

Several things come to mind like; legal issues, contract negotiations and lead generation skills.  However, having the right training when it comes to listing presentations would have been very benificial to me.  I was on my own and still learning.

Matthew...I like you was just thrown to the wolves.  but, I caught on really quick.  I don't treat my agents that way.  They get all the help they really need.

I was fortunate. I received excellent mentoring. I feel for you folks that didn't have the benefit of this. It's a tough business and I suspect the lack of training in the office is partly responsible for the extremely high failure rate.
