D V is entered in the Ellensburg Washington PRCA Rodeo this Friday night September 3, 2010.

D V is currently ranked #12 in the world.
Don and I are so proud of Douglas, it takes a lot of determination to compete in this sport on the professional level at the age of 37. I am so hopeful that he can make the finals again this year in Vegas... Mama would like to go back and watch the finals :) Have some Active Rain members that I want to look up if we get there in December. Doug has just a few more weeks to qualify for the Finals. He's currently at #12 and needs to stay in the top 15 to qualify.
D V is a professional carpenter, designer of log homes, and builder of log homes. He's also an Active Rain member... just doesn't blog. :) He lives in a gorgeous two story with a third level loft that he designed and built using D logs in Neosho, MO. One of his rodeo sponsors is his local State Farm Insurance Agent. Doug is a good member of his community.. his wife Jule owns and operates a professional Training Studio in Neosho.
If you're in Ellensburg, cheer D V on for me since I cannot be there!
