I woke up this morning ready to go show potential homes to a buyer that had been on a MLS search for several months. Before I even got out of bed at 6:30 am, she called to tell me that she was really sick and would have to reschedule.
Not planning on being awake for another hour I was not in my sorts yet. I simply thanked her for letting me know and to call me when she was feeling better. I then got up, took the 6 year old to school and got the oldest on the bus. I was ready to show property at 9 and had already set the appointments so I decided to go ahead and preview the homes for the buyer.
I got to the first home and it was adorable so I decided to do something different for my buyer. Just because she was sick and could not come to the home didn't mean that I could not bring it to her. I took a video of the home. I only had my digital camera with me so I used the video feature it has. I played a song from Pandora on my cell phone in the back ground. It sounds a little cheesy I know but given my last minute decision to do this for my buyer I had to improvise a little.
