Thats cute! Hope your scale shows you the numbers you want to see, and if it doesn't it is for SURE BROKEN :-)
Kids can come up with the damnedest things and still make them sound like a compliment.
Hi Phyl,
Your daughter is so precious! How sweet...she wants to be just like you!
My kids are constantly weighing themselves. :) It's funny how they do just what they see us do!
Karen - She's such a character! ;) She has also decided that she needs to have chapstick like mommy. She tells everyone about it and it's just too cute! ;)
Dave - It lies to me on a regular basis! It tried to tell me that I weighed 195 pounds yesterday!!! When I grabbed my hubby to show him, the blasted thing informed him that I weighed 120 and he quite promptly chewed me out for not eating enough! (I actually weight 134 according to the Wii Fit, which is perfect for me, but I think it likes getting me into trouble and giving me heart attacks!!) ;)
I am not allowed to weigh. It's not good for me (mentally). I am not overweight so it's best I just leave it alone. Your daughter is precious! :O)
Jay - When I asked her at the pool day before yesterday if she wanted to come into the big pool with me she replied. . and I quote! . . "No thanks Mom! I'm good! (adding a wave of her hand) You can go play!" ;) I nearly cried from laughing! ;)
Amanda - Thanks! She's such an amazing kid! I never know what she's going to do next, but in a good way. She's so bright that it's difficult to keep up with her sometimes, but it's always worth the effort! ;)
Lindsey - Kids are amazing like that! They take the things that adults dread the most and make them fun! Like laundry, it's impossible to not have fun doing laundry with a 4 year old involved! ;)
Joni - Thank you! ;) It's funny, I always wanted a little girl with blue eyes but I could not decide if I wanted blond or dark brown hair. And I got both! Her hair is light blond now, but will be very dark brown when she grows up. (like my hubby's) She's just perfect, what can I say? ;)
LOL! I know what you mean! If I start weighing myself everyday I find that I obsess about it, so I try to only weigh in twice a week. (However with my current scale it's more like a round of Dirt Rotten Liar than a weigh in!) ;)
Phyl, that is just so cute, I am still chuckling! Children are outstanding mimics!
Phly....she's adorable.....and the drama!!!! she's the drama queen of your home.....
OK, those pictures are priceless. You definitely need to frame and hang them in your home.
I suspect your kid & mine are a lot alike. Big ol' ham sandwiches.
My son was talking about a movie he wants to buy and said "Coming soon to DVD & Blu-Ray" I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know what a Blu-Ray is...
I don't mind the 3 and the 8 but when you throw in the other number, in the right order, OUCH!
HAHAHA! That picture is classic! You should print them and put them in a frame.. :)
Tony - She's so much fun! She loves imitating what she sees me do, with hilarious results! ;)
Susan - LOL! Just the other day I overheard her tell another child "Ya,well. . . I don't think that's such a good idea!" The really funny part? She used the exact same tone that I do! ;)
Barbara - Oh, the drama! ;) Heaven forbid you point a camera at her! It's like a miniature version of America's Next Top Model!
Bill - It a little interesting sometimes dealing with a shorter version of myself! Because of some of the events in her life, she acts so much older than her age. I have to stop and say, "Ok, she's only 4!" She acts like she's 4 going on 100! ;)
Craig - I would, but considering that I have over 3000 (and nope, that's not a typo!) pictures of her, it's really hard to choose! I know that sounds excessive, but considering that my "other job" is photography and she's my favorite subject, I think it's reasonable! ;)
Joe - Not two minutes ago when I asked her about what she wanted to do today, she told me "Mommy, I think we should go shopping with Meme'(my mom), and then swimming and get ice cream!" I thought. . . humm. . . that's just what I was thinking! ;)
Julia - LOL!! That's too cute! My little girl will talk about characters from movies as though she actually knows them, its funny! Currently the Night At The Museum movies are her favorite and Brandon "Brundon" , is her favorite person. ;)
Paul - Yikes! She'd be a very round little girl! ;) I know some small children that are, unfortunately, quite over weight, and it makes me want to grab their parents and say "Look at what you are doing to your child!"
Chris - Good Morning! :) I have Aperture set up on the Mac to store all her photos. . . all 3000 + of them. . there is just not enough wall space here! :D
So cute. It is true that they copy what you do! I especially like the part where she told you that you should eat too so you could "do good"!
