College Station ........ Best In Texas For Raising a Family

By
Real Estate Agent with BCR Realtors 262359

A great pace to raise a family according to Kiplinger" College Station was the only city in Texas to make Kiplinger's list of top ten great cities for raising families."

"The findings were based on job growth, healthy economies and vibrant local culture. Additional information such as areas already filled with families with children, quality of public schools, low crime rates, and amount of parks and recreation were then taken into consideration."

"Great public schools and low crime are not the only draws of this small Texas city," said Kiplinger. "College Station has also seen steady wage growth and a low unemployment rate of 6.9 percent. Plus, there are plenty of cultural and athletic events at Texas A&M University, an interactive children's museum, and dozens of parks and playgrounds on the shores of nearby Lake Bryan."

If College Station is on your shortlist to call "Home" and you need a home..... call me . My years of experience in the area real estate market will help you locate that perfect place.

Trey,

I only spent 4 hours there the day we met, but what I saw would make me believe Kiplinger.

Hi Paula

I know your area is a great one also. Life is pretty basic here but sometimes the simple things are the best.

It is a nice place and with Kiplinger's saying so, it should bring some new buyers in that direction.  Sounds like the economy is pretty good there also.

Hi, I might be relocating in college station soon. I have a 6 year young son. Can you please recommend a top 2-3 suburbs from a family safety, public school education and nice neighbourhood standpoint. Thanks.
