Recently had listing in Waterbend community in Jonathan's Landing two bedroom, two bath one car garage needed updating but had one of the best golf course and lake views in Waterbend.

It was priced in line with other comparable units but $2,500 was offered for new appliances.

We had lots of showings and were waiting on an offer which never came through. As this was owner occpided every showing was an appointment  no lock box. One showing was a gentleman came in walked to the bay windows to see the  view looked in the master bedroom, glanced at guest bedroom and was gone.  His agent had told me he really was not ready to purchase but wanted to look while he was renting in the community.

Three days later he made offer we put the deal togetherand he purchased the unit. He went back to New York and his agent did final walk through. I got there a head to check that all was in order. On the window sill in the master bedroom was a small statue of the Madonna (the Mother Mary) I thought oh dear the owner must have left by mistake so I took it home and was going to mail.

Yesterday I spoke to the owner and told her I had the statue she started laughing and told me the reason. She had seen the buyer prier to closing and wished him well and hoped he would be happy with his new place he replied that after looking at the condo and then seeing the statue in the master bedroom he knew that this was the right place for him to be.

Little did I know she had left the statue for him so now one of the other owners is going to go visit him and present with the statue as a house warming gift.

You just never know what makes a person decide to buy, money, emotion's or some times faith.
