THE RIVER QUARRY: NEW CONSTRUCTION IN BETHESDA MD

The River Quarry is a Rosemark DesignBuild Community comprised of 15 detached homes and 15 attached homes at the intersection of River Road and Seven Locks Road in Bethesda MD. I had the opportunity to spend some time with one of the principals, Marc Rose, this summer. Marc took me on a tour of the model home and we caught up about what makes The River Quarry a unique and wonderful place to live.

"Lock It & Leave It"

The River Quarry is a "lock it and leave it" community. For starters, there is a private gated entrance to the community. The River Quarry will have ponds and waterfalls, a grassy ball field at the front of the community and sidewalks throughout. The grass will be mowed and the plants and grass will be watered. 

Green Friendly

The River Quarry is an Energy Star Development. This means that the windows, doors, HVAC equipment, appliances and lighting fixtures are all made of green materials and are energy efficient. As an Energy Star Development, each home goes through a series of tests to insure that home is air-tight. This translates into real savings!

Pricing

The detached single family homes at The River Quarry start at $1,549,990 and attached homes start at $1,149,990. They have many models to choose from and thus far 5 detached homes and 3 attached homes have sold. Each month the builder is offering different incentives like free elevator and a free finished lower level including: bath, exercise room and recreation room!

Location

As previously mentioned, The River Quarry is located at the intersection of River Road and Seven Locks Road. If convenience is what you are looking for, this is it. You are seconds from I-495, so getting to Downtown Bethesda, DC, Northern Virginia and Baltimore is a snap.

Getting in and out of the development is a process. If you are coming from Potomac Village, you have to make a u-turn on River Road to access the development. Upon leaving The River Quarry, you can head NW to Potomac Village or make a u-turn at the intersection to travel south toward Downtown Bethesda, Chevy Chase and the District.

Schools
 
Residents of The River Quarry will go to Seven Locks Elementary School, Cabin John Middle School and Winston Churchill High School. We always recommend that you reconfirm the school assignments with Montgomery County Public Schools just to be safe!
