Are you ready for Christmas?? Is you answer "Are you crazy? It is only the first of September."
Well, how nice your Christmas is depends on what you are doing right now this fall in the area of lead generation.
If you are busy making calls to your sphere of influence, past clients, for sale by owners and expireds, the results will show up by the end of November and the first of December.
But if you are sitting back and taking a break because school is back in session or you would rather watch football, then those results will show up also but you probably won't like them as well!!
In the spring we were all calling anyone we could think of to tell them about the rebate available that was going to expire at the end of April. Business was up but people predicted that it would fall after the rebate ended.
As it seems, they were right but the question remains as to why they were right! In my opinion, business fell off because we all (and I say 'all' because I am guilty also) quit making calls to anyone we could think of.
We have great reasons to be calling!!
1. Interest rates are at a 40 year low.
2. Housing prices are down.
3. Foreclosures are available.
4. Sellers are willing to help with closing costs.
SEE!! There is a silver lining to every cloud. So get out there and spread the good news. You can make this year's Christmas one to remember.
