This is the Labor Day weekend. Many countries observe a Labor Day holiday or International Workers' Day on May 1st. United States and Canada, however, celebrate Labor Day on the first Monday in September. It is also known as the last holiday before summer ends or the last day to wear white. (Ha, who came up with that idea, really!)
Labor Day is also regarded as a party day or a bru ha ha day (my words) yet violence has become common so be extra careful on the streets and at social or secular gatherings.
