Nestled in the Columbia River Gorge, the little town of Quincyhas a booming economy resulting from new high tech jobs brought in with the move of some big internet companies.
Last April, headquarters for Microsoft's MSN Instant Messenger opened up. Intuit (Quickbooks) has already broken ground for a new business complex and Yahoo is locating a major data center branch in Quincy. Apparently these "big guys" are attracted to the affordability of electrical power and raw land.
Quincy is located in Grant County, not far from Moses Lake ... between Wenatchee and Ephrata. Housing and vacant land real estate are very affordable when compared with the metro areas of Seattle, Spokane and Vancouver.
