Identity Theft...Are YOU one of Countrywide's 17 million customers at risk?

If you provided Countrywide Financial Corporation financial information prior to July 1, 2008 your personal information may have been stolen. A recent Class Action Suit against Countrywide has been settled. If your identity is used illegally Countrywide, now Bank of America may be required to provide you with credit monitoring and/or reimbursements. Further information about the settlement and the progress can be found here.

That's ugly stuff, KK. There are a ton of folks who may have been affected. Have theiy notified everyone? This sort of thing seems to be happening more and more, affecting potentially millions of people.

Wow I wish this kind of stuff could be avoided.

FYI I have a nephew who lives in Littleton.  We stayed in Conifer about 11 years ago and loved it so much I didn't want to come home.
