Mike - the Saguaros are amazing. I had no idea they were protected, nor how long it took them to grow. I learned so much on my last trip...but what a photo!!

They are spectacular.  I read up a little bit on them and was amazing to discover that they only grow about an inch a year and that saguaros with more than 5 'arms' are estimated to be about 200 years old.  It's a special treat to see them.
