Lattin's Country Cider Mill & Farm
With the weather turning toward Fall, this is a must-see, especially for families with small children. You can purchase a bag of feed in the store, take it out and find goats that love to eat from your hand.
There are ducks and guinea's that have had little chicks to feed also. There was even a large bin outside the front of the store with baby rabbits that could be petted. Numerous chickens, turkeys and other fowl were in large pens to see, along with a pig who had a pen all to himself.
The food was a big draw. We had some of the best apple fritters we have tasted, followed by a cup of hot apple cider. There was every kind of pie imaginable, apple cake and several kinds of breads. Fresh produce can also be purchased. There are more apple goodies than you have time to eat. Washington honey and many other canned items are on the shelves.
With the cooler weather approaching, be sure to take a day to enjoy, just 40 minutes from Shelton Washington.
