Goat Island On Logan Martin Lake
Located near Pine Harbor in Pell City, Al on Logan Martin Lake is what the locals refer to as Goat Island.
The area residents across from the island keep the goats to control the vegetation in order to maintain the view.
While out boating on Logan Martin Lake near Pine Harbor, enjoy the view of the goats on the island and please do not try to feed or play with them.
Why what lucky goats they are living on their own island. You wouldn't have to worry about me trying to feed or pet them though - they look pretty fierce with those horns.

Diane, I have to be honest I was not expecting live goats to be on goat island. That is a great way to control the vegetation and well with goats everything else.

Rich, Marchel, Tony & Carcy If you look at the picture of the island, the trees limbs have all the leaves off of them from the distance it looks like they name been trimmed off.
