3rd Quarter 2010 Real Estate Stats for Haverhill MA

Here are 3rd Quarter 2010 Stats for Real Estate on the MLS in Haverhill MA.  We all know that the tax credit for homebuyers expired in April 2010, with closings initially by June 2010, extended into September.  This tax credit inflated the sales activity and prices for Real Estate this Spring, and has resulted in a deflation this Summer.

The hottest prices ranges in Haverhill Real Estate just a few months ago are starting to accumulate active listings, and days on market  are beginning to stretch.  In the $250,000-$299,000 price range in Haverhill, the Days on Market are actually lower, BUT there are almost twice as many properties available as there were 3 months ago…Can you spell GLUT?  It seems that now, more than ever, you as an investor need to be certain to create more value than the competing properties in your price range.
