2009 was a down year over all for most moving companies with some in the media declaring a depression for relocation. 2010 will be a hard year to predict. Will the moving market stay in the dull drums or will this be the year that housing prices and low-interest rates finally get folks off the fence and into new homes? Or will 2010 be the year that many home owners were forced to stay in the home they own because they owned more than it is currently worth or they are unable to sell because the other comps they are competing against are short sales or foreclosures?
Hopefully we have seen the bottom of the real estate market bubble bursting and Atlanta along with other cities will return to a healthy level of real estate and moving transactions.
