Staten Island Real Estate Professionals Volunteer to Help School Kids

Staten Island, NY (Grassroots Newswire) 8/30/2010 --

Local EXIT Realty agents, Elizabeth Ameno and Melissa Lichtman volunteered their time to help in the effort to sort out school supplies for the Staten Island Board of REALTORS (SIBOR) annual  "PACK-TO-SCHOOL" program.

This project was designed by SIBOR to assist Staten Island school children in need by supplying them with the necessary supplies to start off their school year. Both monetary and physical donations have helped in the collection of the school supplies needed to fill over 700 backpacks for area school children.

"When I became a REALTOR, I knew that I could help make a difference in the community by dedicating myself to projects like this," says Elizabeth Ameno of  EXIT Elite Realty. "I'm looking forward to helping drop off  these backpacks over the next week and am really proud of what our Board has been able to accomplish with this program."
