San Antonio, Florida is located just to the north of Tampa and a couple of miles east of Interstate 75 in the hills of Pasco County on State Road 52. An easy trip from just about anywhere in west central Florida.

This is a very popular and unique event. Something you are not likely to see in Cleveland, Peoria, or Boston. Of course the festival encompasses much more than just rattlesnakes. It's a great way to spend a fall day and there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Some of the events this year are:

We have a reptile store here and for years I kept wanting to stop just to check it out. When I did, boy was I in for a shock, they carried Rattle Snakes, A King Cobra and even BLack Widow Spiders, I was amazed at how large they really were.
