What a frightening choice of color scheme !Beige says :no-character,non-descript,definitely very casual,

it is certainly not suitable for receiving Heads of States !! What was designer thinking !! It may be his last work.

This room is only missing TV and popcorn in that bowl (in place of apples). It looks like a FAMILY ROOM rather than the office .What are the accent pillows doing in Oval Office ?!

Of all talented designers in the country...........why Michael Smith ????

Wouldn't grey walls with grey flannel sofas and slate leather chairs, accents in black be better choice ?Cntemporary art could provide color accent in th Office in placeof that stripe wall paper.!

We were talking about that the other day.  Talk about neutral.  Love what they did with the rug but the space lacks pizzaz.  The local news Anchor said that Michelle was the designer.

Hi Laura, good to hear from you!

Michelle was the client who approved Michael Smith's proposal ! He would do better in staging, where the motto is NEUTRAL.
