Relocation Services

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Fairfield Regional Office
Hello to all of the buyers and sellers out there who are frustrated with their agents.  Make sure that you have hired a full time experienced realtor who has the expertise to handle the sale in this market place. If you are relocating to a new home, whether it is n the same town or across the county, you need to work with a trained agent who can connect to the proper channels in your preferred destination.

On that note, Alison, it's always good to remind relocating folks that if they get assigned to a less-than-ideal agent, they can ask for someone else.  Most of us will pay the hefty referral fees if we have to, to make sure that the client gets serviced properly! =)

Good point, Leigh!  Often people relocating with a current company aren't clear that the company only wants the referral fee, they aren't finicky with where the referral comes from.  Your emplyer has your well-being at heart.  If a buyer finds a great agent they want to work with, they need to know they are welcome to use that agent even if their company didn't arrange for it immediately.  Most of us are more than willing to work with the referral fees!
