Haddam Neck Fair News
The Haddam Neck Fair will be held Friday, Aug. 31, through Monday, Sept. 3, at 26 Quarry Hill Rd.
This year a beard contest will be featured. Beards must be at least one inch long and will be judged on length, fullness, neatness as well as sideburns and mustache. The contest will be Saturday, Sept. 1 at 1 p.m. Sign up is at 12:30 p.m.
Also, a multiple birth contest will be held at the fair Sunday, Sept. 2, at noon. Twins, triplets, or quads are welcome, including all ages, and will be judged on youngest set, oldest set, most in a set and best matched outfits. Sign-up is at 11:30 a.m.
