RAINING LOCALLY IN SHELL KNOB

This Shell Knob Realtor wants to thank Active Rain for my second and third sale as a result of Localism.

Thanks

It was a pleasure to finally meet with a couple that I had only been dealing with on-line, and then by phone since they first contacted me off my  Active Rain blog      July 30.

What's really neat, is that we all felt that we knew each other.  There was no getting acquainted time needed.  We could get right down to discussing the property they were interested in, and we had already established a feeling of trust.  This is especially important, as I was working both sides of the deal.

We discussed what they would like to offer, wrote it up, and got it accepted within the hour without a counter.  God is good.  Active Rain works.  What more is there to say?

Joan, you do such a good job blogging for localism, and it is nice to see it paying off.  I thought you meant it was really raining again!  There has been so much rain in the midwest!

Neal:

Congrats - We're really in the same category.  I've closed on one, but the two I wrote yesterday are cash, so good as closed.

Chris:  kEEP POSTING AND POST ABOUT YOUR AREA.  iT WILL COME .  i'M GETTING ABOUT ONE LEAD A WEEK FROM AR, BUT THAT'S DUE TO MY STANDING IN GOOGLE.  ON A NORMAL DAY I SHOW UP ONCE OR TWICE ON THE FIRST PAGE OF A SEARCH AND TWO MORE ON THE 2ND PAGE.  SO A STRANGER READING IT FEELS THAT I AM THE EXPERT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR.

Pamela:  Way to go girl!  I've got several more AR leads I'm working, but in a recreational area, they usually look around a long time before buying.

James:  Thanx.  I blog every chance I get.

Joanne:  Yes, I can understand how you would get that opinion, but no, we're not in the flood area.  We have actually only had 2 inches of rain in the past 8 weeks.  Good news is we're saving gas and effort on lawn mowing - bad news is the weeks of 100 degrees fried my garden and flowers.

Daniel:

I post alot to localism.  Check articles in the local paper and see if it warrants a post.  Take pictures of local interest, interview local merchants post it with a picture.  It seems to add up to Google juice.  People find you, and if they like you - by reading your blog - maybe they contact you.

Good luck
