They are called Home BUY-er's!! So, show them what they are BUY-ing! :)

After over 4 years in the Home Staging Industry I thought I had seen my fair share of crazy properties, both Occupied and Vacant!

Let's face it,  every home has a story and our job as Professional Home Stager is to help share the home's story.

In this case, I had a new Real Estate Agent that asked me to look at one of his Murrieta listings that wasn't getting an offers and had been on the market for over 1 month.

When I viewed the property I knew EXACTLY why it wasn't getting any offers!  Even me the Professional Home Stager was STUMPED! Ugh!  So, how do you think the Home Buyer was going to feel.  :(

Ok,  here is what you view when looking at this Vacant Property from both ends of the room.

Murrieta long narrow vacant room

Murrieta long narrow vacant room

Wow! This is one long, lonnnnnnng LONNNNNNNG ROOOOOMMMMMM!

Where will we place the furniture?  How will our furniture fit here?

The room looks so narrow!

Is that the kitchen eating area near the bar?

Didn't I see a kitchen eating area in the Kitchen????

I can't imaging living in this space!

I am sooooooooooooooooooo CONFUSED!!

Well, long story (and ROOM) short, here is how we conquered the challenge and helped to get this Property in Escrow a few weeks later!!

Murrieta Vacant Home Staging Living Room & Dining Room

How cool is that!  In Escrow 3 weeks after Home Staging!

Don't let potential Home Buyers GUESS!  Show them how they can live in the property! :)

BUY BUY BUY or BYE BYE BYE!!!

What's in your Vacant Listing????

Janice:  Amazing transformation and you are right some homes that have an awkward floor plan are the best candidates for home staging.

You did an amazing job Janice. Did you use an end table for a coffee table in the swanky area? I love it!

Janice -- you are truly a pro and one of the best examples of what stagging can do to help get a home sold.  When you have some odd spaces like this, it is very beneficial to help the buyer visualize how the space can be used.

Hi Kristen, I would also add to #2 that once you have narrowed down your tagret market, it would be helpful to know what is a common problem or challenge they are facing. You could do this by conducting informal interviews to see what is their most pressing problem. From here you can see if you have the passion to help them solve their problems. By doing these informal interviews, it's finding out for a fact what areas they need help with rather than making assumptions. What we think they may need might not be what they are looking for. It will save you a lot of time and energy in putting together services that is best for your tagret market.
