Camping in Erie, CO Community Park

Erie is hosting its first Outdoor Adventure Overnight Program in the Community Park this weekend on Saturday and Sunday, September 11th and 12th. Erie sold 112 camping sites for its overnight camping adventure. The average camping site is expected to be occupied by 4 people so that equate to almost 450 campers who are expected in Community Park this weekend.

Sounds like a fun weekend with the family and an opportunity to get the kids outdoors and out from in front of the TV and/or the computer screen.

I need pictures? More info? Was this a one night camping adventure, or an actual camping facility that sold camp sites? I'm intrigued!

Ruth, Since this was a first time event, I didn't have pictures. You are so right though, I should have added pictures of the community park so people could see where they were camping. It was a weekend affair!. More information to come.
