Highlands County's Trail of Terror
A half mile long walk through 15 acres of dark, thick woods with evil clowns, a graveyard, a haunted school bus and an old coal mine waiting to scare the daylight out of you. Sounds like fun?
Sneak Preview starts on Saturday, Sep 25th. The events will run every Friday and Saturday night in October including Halloween night on Sunday, Oct 31st.
The original trail is lighted, but the newly added trail contains no lights. Tickets are available directly at the Highlands County Humane Society on Haywood Taylor Blvd, near the Sebring Airport.
Single trail tickets are $7, for $10 you get to enjoy both trails. All proceeds go directly to the Highlands County Humane Society.
For smaller children, there is a "no scare, no gore" Halloween Carnival on Saturday October 23, from 3 pm - 6pm. Admission for the carnival is $5 and it includes all games, shows and attractions.
